Lie Big are Guitarist Adrian Jones, Bassist Kevin Jones and singer Russell outlaw. Recently invigorated by working together again after years of inactivity, Lie Big released their debut album, 'Severed' in May 2007. The new material could be described as dark and menacing. The album features a re-recorded 'Overcome' which reached number 1 in the alternative metal chart on Soundclick.

Story behind the song
This music was written very quickly about 8 or nine years ago, though the arrangement took a while to get right. My wife Sarah supplied the sick lyrics! Russell (singer) said at the time he was worried about me living with this sick woman! The song used to really kick ass live. It has been hard to get this to work as a studio track but I think we got there. Its tongue in cheek, don't take it too seriously, just enjoy!...... by the way..... MHD stands for.............. Motel Hooker Death..........
