I am not a band I am a single artist. I didn't see any options for a single artist so I put it with 'new band'. Hi, I've been doing music for MANY years and wiil continue to be into it until I lose my mind or my soul. At this point my songs are guitar and voice. The lyrics are a very important part of my songs. I am living in Southern FL and would be open to meeting others to jam with. Maybe for a duet, trio or band.

Story behind the song
I used to live in Detroit and then later in Chicago. I've always enjoyed walking alone at night on the busy streets. This song is about some of the images one might encounter.

Tonight will be beautiful. Tonight will be beautiful, I know because I’ve seen. the cars are gonna honk their horns below the streetlight s beam. And the stars will shine on the trees. The traffic lights’ll be mostly green. and the night will be beautiful a painting of a vision in a dream. When I was very young I’d awake in the morning to a choir singing. It wasn’t the radio or the T.V. I guess it came from somewhere inside of me, it was beautiful, but I don’t hear it anymore. Tonight will be beautiful, people will look up, say hello. The quarter moon will smile on the streetcars down below. All the drunks and the druggies will have a good time, and maybe they’ll even throw the bums a dime. It’s all too beautiful, city oh city of mine. There’ll be a strong wind and all the trash will blow around in a circular promenade that will never touch the ground. All the cops will sing a song while the whores and hustlers play. Tonight will be beautiful in every way.
