Alex is just 15 and has been making music and composing since he was quite small, but only since he got his Korg synthesiser as a chrismas present in 1999 did he start to create complete tracks. He then went on and made his first CD, this was published just before his 14th birthday. Alex is a grammar schoolboy in Canterbury. He was born in Chatham in 1986 and lived in the Netherlands for a while, but moved back to the UK with his family in 1994. Since he was very small Alex has played music on piano, harpsichord, organ, violin, and has only in the last couple of years moved into electronic music. He has also been involved with classical music, i.e. assisted with classical organ recordings at Rochester Cathedral. Alex started formal piano lessons at the age of 7 and has composed from a very young age, when it became clear he was musically gifted. His violin lessons started aged 10. Although learning fast and reaching grades for piano and violin, he stopped formally studying classical instruments around the age of 13. This was round about the time he got his electronic Korg synthesizer Christmas 1999 and ever since then he has continually worked hard on new compositions. Alex is now working on new material for new tracks and this took over.Alex would like to do well with his CD(s) in the hope that these will finance more new acquisitions of music equipment to enhance his home studio set-up.
