Though I didn't initially realize it, this song was based on a conversation in which my companion and I said, "Consider this a testament..." So, reflecting on my girl's desire to see me, and her suggestion that I use a tesseract (a form of travel from Madeleine L'engle's book, A Wrinkle in Time), I wrote this song. The chord progression is simple, and I think it's present in some classic songs, but, meh, it happens. I performed this song at the Swedlove Family Reunion, to a degree of embarrassment to a special someone.
