This is a song I wrote after an ex-girlfriend of mine was shot and killed in a gang related shooting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The first verse I wrote within 24 hours of hearing the news. The second verse I wrote after finding out that she started the dispute with the intention to die, some people came ot the speculation that because we were speaking again I had something to do wiht it. When she died, so did a piece of me.
