Well, I'm not a band....not unless you count, the people I like to collab with. I love to co-write with others, and lay a female vocal here and there.
Well...first, I am not a band. I would love to hook up with a band and really start singing. I love to collab with others more than anything. I have layed vocals for a few people on some of their projects. I really don't know where this will lead....and don't care. I just love music...it's was the "Root of my Raisin'" You can check out my web-page to find out a little more about Crystal Lynn.

Story behind the song
I wrote the original lyric, and it was inspired by my girls. Mike Fisbey saw more potential with it...threw some stuff in it from a father's perspective. It has a little Jimmy Buffet feel to it, it's a feel good song...without the margaritta's lol ENJOY!!!
Lyrics
After The Day I Had v. 1 Driving on the interstate Yea, I can hardly wait To see the lights of home It’s been a really tough day But daddy’s on his way From workin’ all night long I wonder if the kids are up I can’t wait to pick em’ up Just to let em’ know I want some hugs and kisses And lots of misses ‘Cause daddy really needs them so Chorus: Well, After the day I’ve had All I really want to do Is slip right in under those covers And catch a little wink or two I’ve had nothing to eat And I’m feeling beat I’m down on myself a tad But what I really need Is some pick me daddy’s After the day I’ve had v. 2 Well the lights are on ‘Cause the sun is all gone The day is coming to an end I can’t take anymore Gotta open that door Here comes my medicine They run to the pickup truck I can’t wait to pick em’ up Just to let em’ know I need some hugs and some kisses And lots of misses ‘Cause daddy really loves them so Repeat Chorus: v. 3 They oughta’ be tucked in bed Daddy’s little sleepy heads Gonna have to bend the rules But maybe it’ll be fine Only happen one time! Getting’ there late for school I think I’ll keep em’ up I need a little pick me up Just so they will know I’ve got hugs and some kisses And lots of misses ‘Cause daddy really loves them so Repeat Chorus x 2 But what I really need Is some pick me up daddy’s After the day I had *Original Lyrics © 2005 Crystal Collins *Edited and Revised Lyrics 8/21/05 by MG Frisbey © copyright 2005 C.Collins/MG Frisbey words and music
