A song about the point of no return in a relationship. Either you're goping with it or you're not.
Chmeyfish is the cllective name given to the musicians who have recorded and played the music of Sean jenner, an Australian singer/songwriter.
Chimneyfish was simply the name given to any group of musicians I can get together to play my songs. In the last couple of years I have teamed up with Jason Fieguth and formed a pretty good partnership. I write radio-friendly Pop Rock most of the time but occasionally branch out a bit from that style.

Story behind the song
This song has evolved out of a song written by Sean Jenner and Jan Stephensen. It was motivated by the thought of making relationship decisions and getting to the point where once the decision is made there's no going back. The title was the analogy drawn from the story of Julius Caesar deciding to cross the Rubicon River to take over Rome.
Lyrics
I lie awake, staring at the ceiling Thinking of her, as night passes by Cold as ice, dying like a sunset Hand in hand through the tunnels of my mind My eyes grow weary, my hands grow old I have no answers, I am alone Chorus She says, it’s no big deal She pilfers and steals And falls to her knees She knows it’s over Verse 2 A slip of light, tells me day is waking Night has gone but just for the day I think today, I’ll close the debt that shadows me It has to be I’ve got no more to pay I don’t feel bitter, I just feel numb No words were spoken, I was struck dumb Chorus She says, it’s no big deal She pilfers and steals And falls to her knees She knows it’s over Verse 3 So here I wait, with a heart that’s empty Drained of life my souls gone away Cold as ice, hoping for an angel To warm my spirit and light my way My heart knows her, its almost won I brace myself to cross my Rubicon She says, it’s no big deal She pilfers and steals And falls to her knees She knows it’s over She says, it’s no big deal She pilfers and steals And falls to her knees She knows it’s over
