Story behind the song

Me and our good Freind Jimmy Herrington were on a road trip to visit my freinds and family in the blue ridge mountains.... While on this trip I noticed the views I had as a kid were now covered in a yellowish like haze. Also while we were riding down the Blue Ridge Parkway, I noticed a bulletin on one of their boards. It showed how up high on Mt. Mitchell all the trees were dead from acid rain. also seen how air pollution was effecting grandfather mountain as well. After returning home to Florida i wrote this song....... So stand up all you people take notice to the air....Before its to late......DB Hackett
