Love and Robots, electro clash
Telephone Booth Genre: Next Wave (Electro Clash) Hometown: Valrico, Florida Giancarlo wrote poetry about love and robots and needed some sounds to go with his fantastic words. He was walkie-talkie armed with an idea for the beat and usually had 1 or 2 crunchy guitar chords to apply to the song. Bobby D had the drum machine and bass line and occassionally some new wave synthesizer sounds to complete the sound.

Story behind the song
This was the very first songwriting experience we had as a group. Giancarlo came equipped with some very sexy text and a drum rhythm. Bobby D. programmed the drums, Giancarlo sang, then there was a bassline, walkie-talkies, and finally, the guitar. It was a beautiful experience for both of us. This recording is the original version of the song. We wrote all of our songs in the Telephone Booth (our recording studio) and later learned how to perform them live. Plenty of timing errors and click sounds that we ignored as our only mission was to write the song.
