My name is Kenneth Edward Keyn. I am simply a musician. I strive to understand the deeper things that music has to offer. I am a composer of deep, rich, and expressive music. I am classically trained, but I explore a plethora of genres and styles. I specialize in orchestral, choral, and small ensemble work. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon. I am the primary co-composer on the iPhone game Trenches. I am a long standing member of OverClocked ReMix, where I am featured on multiple album releases and individual arrangements.

This song was written as an entry for the Thematic Original Music Competition (TOMC 5) on the forums of OverClocked ReMix. The story behind the song is as follows: "A city made of stone lies just on the edge of the horizon. A colossus against the sky, the city towers and unfolds across the plains. This is the capitol of the oldest and most powerful nation in the region. It has endured countless wars, been home to many great achievements, and the cultivator of years of peace and stability. Upon entering the massive gates, the splendor of the city fills any traveller with awe." Current status: Submitted
