There are a combination of Spanish guitar styles involved. I wanted to give this song a spirit. I wanted it to sing to your heart and raise the hairs on the back of your neck.

Story behind the song
The Idea behind this song was inspired by the trailer for a movie called “The Four Brothers”. Only in my story the four brothers were taught to play the guitar to entertain their mother’s Love of music. Their father was once a great musician who used his musical talents to enchant his beautiful bride - she married him when he promised he would do his best to keep her surrounded with music and Love. When their first born was becoming a young man - the father’s hands were no longer as agile and nimble as he wished - he taught the first son everything he knew of the guitar and how to make it sing. He passed on his talent and made good his promise to his wife as the son played for his mother’s joy. A second, third, and finally a four son were born to the couple and each son learned to make his mother happy and fill her heart with joy - playing for her. Each son took it upon himself to teach the next the skills pass down by the now ailing father. Every Sunday they would gather after a hardy meal prepared by their mother and they would play for their supper by filling the house with song. Together they combined their talents to write this tune. Timing was a big concern with making this tune work. There are a combination of Spanish guitar styles involved. I wanted to give this song a spirit. I wanted it to sing to your heart and raise the hairs on the back of your neck. I produced this song to dedicate to my Mother on her 70th birthday come September 24th. With much Love I recognize her Prayers, Hopes, and Dreams for me and reflect my thanks to her in song. Give it a listen and see what you think. I hope you hear something special as I mean it to be for her. In final - another inspiration I drew upon for this tune was a county fair I attended many years ago as a young adult. The weather had driven off much of the crowd and only a few of us lingered for a local hispanic group of brothers who played some wonderful music for an intimate audience. A magic moment in my life as I look back.
