Is this how we were made to live by rules that restrict our live and were we cautioned not be heard or part of any compromise The words are written in your book of so-called consecrated rules Where one can fight for their rights or be cared for simply to be abused When will we stop ourselves and take a look around Does it take false accusations or wrongful hangings just to figure it out How can we be so selfish and ignore what’s really there We can’t just sit aside and let them stare Your North American country sucks you can’t have a government that gives you everything you wish was yours But don’t you feel a bit selfish when so many lose their lives just getting to where you are A couple things are rough The corporate slayers kill us But that just a figure of speech for others that’s the reality of prejudice ©TDS 2003
