Story behind the song
This riddim is dedicated to all people suffering now in the areas hitted by Katrina.. This tragedy made me think and meditate about the impotence of mankind over the forces of nature and on how strongly nature strikes back in response to human's attempts to modify her..I hope this events will make those who sits on the chairs of command think about how much sacrifice is being taken in the name of capitalism and so called progress..we cannot rule the nature by no means but we shall be ruled by it..and live its ways...and respect it.. Catharsys is a term that takes his origins from the greek "kathÃiro" which means to clean, to purify...The meaning his then purification, liberation, redemption. For Plato the meaning was the liberation of the soul from the body by death seen as return at the perfection after the constrictions given by material existance. I hope this music and the reasoning that goes with it will inspire some lyrics by some of the talented dj's around here...this riddim is intended for this purpose and I'll look forward to remix it to suit vocals...
