My name is John Cusimano. I have been writing songs since the 1980's. Much of my writing has been done in collaboration with a long time friend, John Fracchia and recorded by our band, Loose Change (www.broadjam.com/loosechange). I also have collaborated with lyricists and other composers through an group of songwriters called the Songwriters Gang (www.songwritersgang.com). My music crosses a variety of different genres such as pop rock, ballads, country, classic rock, contemporary christian, etc. Although widely varied, my music always features solid, catchy melodies with strong hooks.

Story behind the song
The song was inspired by John Mayer's Songwriting Contest in Esquire Magazine. John Mayer published the lyrics in Verse 1 and part of Verse 2 in Esquire magazine inviting prospective songwriters to finish the song. John Fracchia and I wrote the music and the remaining lyrics (chorus, bridge, etc.).
Lyrics
Where Do I Go From Here? Lyrics: John Mayer & John Fracchia Music: John Cusimano & John Fracchia Copyright  2005 I keep a note that I wrote on a taxi receipt It says, âœDon't listen to anybody other than me❠I hit the big time for a nominal fee You lose a friend for every dream that you see come true I got scars upon scrapes, I've got bruises on breaks Masochistically committed to see how much I can take Three years sub-surface, I ain't even got shakes I'm going deeper and deeper and deeper And I say, âœWhere do I go from here?❠I used to where but lately it's not clear Shut-out and tossed down and huggin' the ground. Looking for signs from life's lost and found. Where do I go from here? I've got dreams to remember, got days to forget I've got some phone calls in to God but he ain't called back yet Sometimes I'm dangling at the end of my line Sometimes I'm aging like the cheapest wine Chorus You know it used to be so easy When you're a no one, no one wants a thing And they don't see that you need nine lives They only see you grab that ring Chorus
