STREET LIGHTS
The street lamps flicker and fade
Colors turn dark circles into everything
As each passing moment sings
My arms and legs fall off my body
Now I’m just a torso. I’m poor, so… have some pity.
All we really want
Is all we really need
Everything I own
Ends up owning me
Like all children cry
Everyone must die tonight
Feeling too high
Watching these street lights
I’ve waited for half moonlight too long
Bright enough to see the scars
Too late comets and stars
Believe that nothing more
Was meant for me
Nothing more was meant for me here
