Story behind the song
I spent a harrowing few hours at the hands of immigration. Being from New Zealand, but married to a US citizen, I thought I could just come in and hang out. This is not true. I was almost sent right back to Mexico city, but in the end was given humanitarian entry. I am no an alien on parole until I file for residency. Which is what I'm doing soon.
