Story behind the song
Will Stevens did a terrific job on these lyrics and they drove me to try and create a new thrash to my normally bizarre sound set. The finished product made me wanna go out and buy a new meat grinder for my lamb chops.
Lyrics
“STAINLESS” Your cutting tongue might touch my heart, But you’ll never see a single mark. The words you hurl are so unkind. You look for damage you’ll never find. I’m stainless, cold stainless steel, I’ll never show the hurt I feel. Don’t get too close don’t follow me home. You know I’d rather be all alone, Than expose a weakness and get hurt again. Your warm glow can’t penetrate my skin I’m stainless, cold stainless steel I’ll never show the love I feel I look perfect, impeccably cool. Don’t let ‘em see you sweat’s my golden rule. A man like me is hollow inside. I need the room for all the fear I hide. I’m stainless, cold stainless steel. I’ll never show what a naught I feel.
