Story behind the song
Sometimes people say the dumbest things to me like, “pat your black why aren’t you good at basketball” or “pat your black why do you act so white” or even worse “pat your black why don’t you act like a thug” and I'm not even black. I wrote this song to try to get these people to see that there is not a certain way that a person is supposed to act because there skin is this color or that. People are people and there personalities are not determined by there skin tone.
