progressive alternative rock acoustic solo music
This is me - my life in the form of music. Although my favorite type of music is progressive rock, I also liking writing solo acoustic songs, and have made some attempts at creating a few techno/industrial instrumental songs.

Story behind the song
This song is about finding the strength within yourself, especially when life gets exceptionally hard.
Lyrics
The whispers are spreading and evil is brooding, The sheets on my head will keep me from hearing, As I block out the light and pretend nothing is happening, But in the back of my mind, I know exactly what I must be, And that’s one of a kind. From cycle to cycle I can’t remember which the dream is, Time to face another day or night, but I’m not sure which, The fear creeps in like a stalker who’s waiting to do me in, And I press forward thinking there is no way I’ll ever win. I’m walking outside, but where is the sun? I’m looking around, am I the only one? Someone put their thumb up in the sky today, To mute the sun and turn my atmosphere grey, They think they’ve gotten the best of me? Well I’m not like anyone else they’ve ever seen. I’m walking outside, I can’t find the sun, Looking around, I’m the only one… that’s fine. I can feel the winds of change blowing through, Now I understand that it comes from within you, I’ve dug inside and I’ve found that all along, The sun, not for one moment, had ever been gone. I’m awake. And in my solitude I often find it’s exactly the same, The good and bad balance each other; it’s a wonderful array, Every day there is another addition to the stories in my brain, And I’ll always remember the day I found the sun again. I feel like a kid again. They can’t get to me now…
