This was the original vision for the Blue Room, as put out there by Rob. Of course, it changed drastically.

Story behind the song
This song is like the 1/2 sister of Override's "Blackeyed Susan". Sometimes lyrical ideas aren't relegated to one project. Musically, VERY influenced by the Legendary Pink Dots. Perhaps that's the deal with the accent. Or the booze. One of the two.
Lyrics
Blackened eyes, she speaks of _______ (up for interpretation) Blackened eyes, she's sure she's been __________ Blackened eyes, she wants to cry out Blackened eyes, she knows that she wants out Blackened eyes, they fade inside Bring her into your mind Your blackened eyes say more than she ever did before She cries out, cries out - and you shut your door Blackened eyes with broken tears She's felt all this for too many years When faith dies out & you're alone And all the things you've left in stone Your blackened eyes & empty tears You've brought it on yourself all these years Shattered spirits all filled with regret The uncontrolled things that you have preset Previous plans and the path you retrace Take it back, you're left with your face Blackened eyes, they'll take you into All the unknown lies you've been born into Blackened eyes, she speaks of someone They've cut off their ears, so they hear "no one" Blackened eyes, broken dreams There are always the unknown things Try to place your faith in all this After all, it's really quite useless Blackened eyes with broken tears She's felt all this for too many years When faith dies out & you're alone And all the things you've left in stone And you're gone, in your blackness, and you're heartless And you think that you're not helped ... help? Help's not coming. No one's going to help you Help yourself You wonder when you wonder how Wondering is what got you here right now You know, son? And you're right, you've never been here before You're not here, you're not there There's no help No one's gonna help you
