Story behind the song
Last week I began working on a few titles of Jean Michel Jarre's "Revolutions" album. The first pieces on this albums are called "Industrial Revolution", a piece which itself consists of 4 parts, named Overture, part 1, 2 and 3. Back in 1988, the industrial wasteland of the London docklands formed the perfect backdrop for the rather bombastic industrial concept. The first 4 songs are based on the original pieces mentioned above. I didn't tend to create an exact cover version, but added my own twist. The final part maybe considered as another version of the Overture part, but I consider as being a new composition. I didn't use any sequencers nor real guitars. Everything was built from scratch, except for the originally used patches which were used by Jean Michel too, and 2 samples from the original album, which I couldn't recreate. I hope you enjoy the music as much as I did composing and playing it! ;-)
