The guitar needs some work. There is just one note that is destracting, but I don't know what to do about it.
A guitar. A girl. Some words. A voice. 'Nuff said.
Lyrics
there's a pot of coffee cooling
on the kitchen counter by the
cup that holds the water near the
pills to calm my nerves
there's a half a dollar by the
phone that's off the hook right near the
keys to my apartments that I
lose almost every day
and life keeps with its changes and the
world keeps with its strangeness and the
sun keeps with its dimming when the
clouds come
in
there's an old spare tire in the trunk
next to the blanket filled with sand
from that last beach trip where
the stars covered the sky
there's a torn ticket stub for that
concert in the pocket of my
jeans that keeps getting washed and now
the print has washed away
and life keeps with its changes and the
world keeps with its strangeness and the
sun keeps with withs dimming when the
clouds come
in
rain rain go away
I want to go out and play
but this is not the day
cos the grownups won't understand
teacher gives too much homework
and the bullys have all been jerks and
I need to kiss some princes cos the
frogs anrt as enchanting as they say
there's a worn out bible that I
use to prop the table with the
leg that is two inches shorter
than the others on one side
there has to be a reason for the
world to keep it's orbit but I
think that I'll just sleep now
and think about that another day
and life keeps with its changes and the
world keeps with its strangeness and the
sun keeps with its dimming when the
clouds come
in
