Story behind the song

Unofficial retranslation incapmaring with official, was designed as totall Russian version(with full English language removal)..Which means that A. Banderas voice gotta be removed too..So as sound director, director and one of the actors,i decide that i should sing for A.Banderas - oherwise his voice would spoil the illuision(that all the movie characters can really speak Russian).. Ì has no full original English version so i had also remove a speach of official retranslator (who has speak after english) and some sounds that he made while holding mic..and that why i had to also replay several phrases bymyself(all aditional music remain as same is on original soundtrack - i`ve found original CD with original music from that movie and simply has remove A. Banderas vocal..) So you may say that it`s me and Los Lobos...

I can`t speak spanish and have no clue about exact meaning of that song, ,but i know that it`s an ethnic ancient composition and every skilled mariachi has to play it for practice.....
