BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE: IF YOU LISTEN TO MUSIC, SIGN OUR MESSAGE BOARD AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. WE KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE. OK. Domingo... when you hear the word, only two things should come to mind, regardless of race, creed, or gender: "good music" and "man, I WANT them". On our new album "Everything Is Perfect", we basically took our old sound, sped it up by about 30 BPM, and made it rock harder. So listen, enjoy and love.

Story behind the song
i (i being matt) was watching some news show, and some old white senator-type guy -- i think it might have been zell miller -- was on, going on and on about how america has a problem with decency, and he kept citing things like "these kids listening to gangsta rap" (even though there isn't really such thing anymore), and all these other things that kind of made him sound more like a grumpy old man than someone who has any idea what he's talking about. plus, i'm sure when he was younger, he was probably into the beatles or zeppelin, to the utter disdain of his parents and their generation. get over it, things change, including (gasp) clothing styles and language patterns. so this song (and, yes, the title as well) is pretty sarcastic.
Lyrics
new day dawn it's sunrise red skies all the things you claim you despise hasn't been so long since you were there now has it? a failing heart and hardened eyes a life of putting up with lies well now you feel you've earned the right to say "you've had it" but this is so much different than your revolution this, well it's just plain indecent and it begs the simple question have you forgotten what it looks like? have you forgotten what it sounds like? have you forgotten what it feels like? CHORUS: well that's a heavy crown for you to wear around these stumbling blocks and on your way down you will recognize those social stocks that you used to occupy for a cause well that's a heavy crown why don't you take it off and use your head for once a new way out of old pay days it's only fraud if you can't say that you're working hard and you kind of resent it now every miniskirt you see and songs made up of dirt and screaming well now you are on a mission to mend it but this is so much different from your revolution yeah this it's just plain indecent and it begs the simple question have you forgotten what it looks like? have you forgotten what it sounds like? have you forgotten what it feels like? CHORUS have you forgotten what it looks like? have you forgotten what it sounds like? have you forgotten what it feels like? yeah yeah yeah yeah
