Story behind the song

I went from Venezuela to Amsterdam in 2001 to play in what was supposed to be a cool blues scene. Well the players were cool, and the fans were cool, but the noise ordinances and the competition for the few gigs were not fun. I spent too many nights in the streets. So I wrote me a song about it.
