BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE: IF YOU LISTEN TO MUSIC, SIGN OUR MESSAGE BOARD AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. WE KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE. OK. Domingo... when you hear the word, only two things should come to mind, regardless of race, creed, or gender: "good music" and "man, I WANT them". On our new album "Everything Is Perfect", we basically took our old sound, sped it up by about 30 BPM, and made it rock harder. So listen, enjoy and love.

Story behind the song
This song had it's 2-line beginnings, like so many of our songs, in a situation Dan was in with a girl, but Matt ended up turning them into something serious. It's about people who decide that there are certain sins or bad things that are taboo and that are worth gossipping about, etc., while they themselves think nothing of being really materialistic, or, say, gossipping about people, etc. Down with 5-point Calvinism! (that isn't really the point of this song)
Lyrics
send me away no one as eagerly as you will ever look forward to scowling a hole in my back and time after time i can't seem to get together my state of mind in prose and rhyme say "any friend of mine follows the party line" 'cause when it's convenient you always lean on your doctrine say it slow make sure you condescend so you can stomp out your selective list of mortal sins way down low so send me away no no one as easily as you could ever make me question the way i'm living and night after night i bang my head against the light that you insisted would guide my way to the right side when i just wanted to find my way to the bathroom CHORUS: so whisper away all of god's good graces it's only fair to alert your friends now gossip between glances at catalogue pages that i don't understand no it's not that we can't agree and if i'd just hold your hand ...well i'd be part of the tyranny of little white turning your backs on those who lie while you ignore the dirt in your own life 'cause when it's convenient you always lean on your doctrine come on say it slow so i can hear it again and again now nobody's perfect but then i guess you're pretty close well now i know CHORUS so while you're strengthening sides i'll be taking great strides to cause them to crash and collide
