Lyrics
what matters micah sherrill september 19, 1999 1-so terrible, the wrath of my smile wake of my kiss, oh, shivers of denial so how would you prefer your heart, with me or on that table as art or will these matters take awhile 2-under your voice i hear murmurs where falls blood inside you stir the hide and await, behind now rusted gates you keep what matters so you can be sure r-for what would matter, soon will be coming for you soon will be breaking through 3-the heavy stare of hearts held high above the pillow, clear of the tide i don’t want to move, i just want to know what you’re trying to prove can’t quite say come here or goodbye {refrain} ch-if you want to stay, then just don’t stand there come on in, sit down i won’t deceive you, i will believe you how many times can i say, can i say 4-all the things i should have said what could they be ‘cause i could talk till i’m dead i wish that you had told me then, if you only knew what you were in for that this is where you would be {refrain} {chorus} ...what matters to you ...what matters to me ...is what matters ...is what matters
