My music is guitar-oriented rock, folk rock, psychedellic rock, jam band, new age instrumental, acoustic, singer-songwriter... Basically just whatever I feel like doing at the moment. I'm not striving for consistency, or a "brand", so much as just expressing the music that is floating around in my consciousness (or wherever these ideas come from). I'm putting the music on this site for the purpose of sharing ideas and collaborating with other musicians. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed recording it!

Story behind the song
Dan Brown: Acoustic guitars, dumbek ... Andy Peschka: Bassoons, flute, cymbal When my friend Andy sold me his Akai DPS12 digital 12-track recorder, we did this tune as a way for him to show me the basics of how to use the machine. There are 2 bassoon tracks, a flute played through reverb/delay, a crash cymbal, a dumbek, and an Alvarez acousic guitar played through reverb for both the lead and the walk-down/rhythm parts. We just threw it together in one evening of first-takes, but I kinda like it! The flute and lead guitar were played simultaneously, so we had that nice live interplay.
