Rudely awakened by the trailers smoke alarm
Flames rage around them, they narrowly escape
She runs out screaming, their home disintegrates
Neighbors and family run to lend a hand
She thanks the Lord they’re alive, God only understands
Although her dreams are ashes on the ground
Amid smoke and cinder, comfort can be found
