Story behind the song
This tune goes out to all the people who know a true synthesizer does not play like a piano. A true synthesizer is a science project in action - a huge learning curve to master and an art all it’s own. This tune goes back to the days before midi and how many patches you can store. Don’t get me wrong - MIDI is a great advancement and today’s synthesizers are better described as “Keyboards” but man when you go back and look at the old synthesizers they were like an experiment gone wild. They were huge and programmed with cables and very complex machines. Anyway, this tune is a bit off the beaten path and it should be with a title like “The Slippery Slope” don’t you think? Granted this song isn’t probably for everyone - but not everyone wants to play on “The Slippery Slope” either. Give it a listen and see what you think.
