Just me, a couple of guitars. Oh, and a PC. That's it.
Just me and the Home Studio XL, me playing guitar for the first time in 20 years or so. Used to record on a little four track casette thing back then. Who'd have ever thought you could have an entire digital recording studio in your own home so few years later. Why, we'll all be wearing silver suits and flying around with jet packs soon, mark my words.

Story behind the song
Not really recorded properly in XL, just recorded via a mic with a drum machine and me playing guitar and singing on one track, then playing second guitar and singing harmony on the second. No real mixing done and was just done in 15 minutes just to see if I could. Listen out for my mobile phone going off on vibrate cos I'd left it on the table near the mic, and me tripping over the acoustic guitar while playing the electric. Both of which add a certain immediacy to the track. :-)
