The kid is in the backroom, banging on pots and pans, pretending to play the piano, messing with a tape recorder. It's Glide.

Story behind the song
After we exchanged our goodbyes we agreed to keep in touch. She lowered herself into her taxicab and it was at that moment that I had decided it would be most appropriate to confess my love for her. At first it was as if I was reaching into the water hole and then she shot up into my lips like a guiser. We laughed. We sang. We danced the dance the dance and said the words, but it was not necessary. We both understood that we would never see each other again. That was the last I heard from her. Five years have passed. I never think of her. Only now, as I find myself dancing that same old dance in the same old street in front of the same old taxi cab driver. He’s older now, and so am I. But the girl is the same age. Some things never change. I hate her. I always have hated her. I imagine that when I die, I will still hate her. She will never age, but her name will change. The face will vary. The body will be different, but under the youthful flesh and perky breasts she will remain the same. And I will hate her. Not that it matters. I don’t mind.
