Story behind the song
I have a deep love for all those old detective movies from the thirties and fourties. My absolute favorite has got to be Sherlock Holmes. I have all of the Basil Rathbone movies. I also loved those silly Charlie Chan movies especially with Sidney Toler. I guess that's also why I like shows like "Monk", "Quincy", and "Columbo". I wanted to produce an action tune with a fun theme and "Charlie Chan" stuck in my mind. There's a little of everything in this tune to keep it interesting and upbeat. Give it a listen and see what you think. I love the horn sounds even though they are keyboard sounds. Don't even get me started on those booming drum sounds...
