Formed in 2001 with Alex on guitar and vocals, Robert Hernandez on drums and Saul Mata on bass, the early form of Enraged was basically a heavy metal band looking for a foundation. With the 1st demo recorded and released in 2001/2002 and rereleased in 2005 the first songs were just that, a basis for Enraged to introduce themselves to the world of heavy metal. In 2003 Robert left the band to pursue a family life, and that left the band stagnant for the remainder of the year. In 2004, James Hall stepped in the drummers shoes, and the band quickly looked to establish themselves once again. With the recording of Retribution Mine, the band was reforming into a more aggressive style of music. During the year 2004 and 2005, the band played several gigs throughout south Texas, but their life was cut short once again when Saul left the band for personal reasons. The year 2006 and 2007, the bands fate was uncertain. In 2007, Netz came in to fill the bass man's shoes, and a reunion was left pending. Although material was already written for a second album, the band simply could not find the time to reunite due to conflicting schedules. In 2008, the band reestablished ties, and is seeking to ressurect more stronger and more aggressive then ever before.
