Welcome to STARRCOUNTRY!!!
Hi and thanks for stopping in! My name is Jared Starr and I'm a songwriter looking for people interested in my music. It's mostly country and ranges from traditional to today's country. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife and two wonderful children. I believe there are many things that make a song, beginning with the writer and the lyrics and ending with the singer and vocals. It's a package that either works or doesn't. Whenever there is a connection where a singer gets the perfect song and breathes life into that song, it cannot be stopped. Music has no limits. There are no rules in songwriting, just guidelines to help keep you on the right track. Once again, thanks for stopping by my site and I hope you enjoy some of the songs I have written.

Lyrics
Verse 1 In a crowded airport terminal, she tightly takes his hand, Almost afraid to let him go… But there’s a war, and he’s been called to serve, And she understands that he can’t say no…. He puts one hand on the baby, that’ll be here in July, And as they call to board his plane, he looks into her eyes, and he says, Chorus You’re the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world, And you mean that much to me…. If I’m not home before you have that little girl, Give her a kiss from her daddy…. Looking in your eyes, girl I feel it too, Words can’t say how much I love you, and I’ll be home soon…. Verse 2 That was April, and May drug by, and finally June came and went, And as she lay there in that hospital bed, she held tight to the letter that he’d sent.. There’s no need to read it, she’s got it memorized, But later as she holds her newborn girl, tears fall from her eyes as she reads, Chorus 2 To the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world, You mean that much to me… I’m still waiting word on our little girl, I pray all is well, and I’m sorry… I’d give anything to be right there with you, Words can’t say how much I love you, and I’ll be home soon…. Bridge A few weeks later, the phone rang late one night, And paralyzed she listened without a sound…. There was an ambush, they searched through the night, But he had not been found… Verse 3 The whole next day was spent by the phone, nervously awaiting word… When that call finally came she dropped to her knees, And cried out to the Lord when she heard……… Chorus 3 Can I speak to the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world, You know you mean that much to me…. I’m coming home to you and our little girl, So dry your tears its alright baby… I was scared, and all I could think about was you, Words can’t say how much I love you, and I’ll be home soon…. Tag In a crowded airport terminal, he takes one tiny hand, And vows he’ll never let her go…….
