Tom Wehrle will blow your mind away with Pop/Rock infectious melodies
Tom, 24, is unique in the fact that he sings, plays most instruments, records, and produces all of his own music. With his hands on everything, Tom approaches each song with excellence in mind. From a simple melody, which transforms into a full song, to an acoustical interlude, the music is anything but ordinary. Tom's music is a fun/laid-back blend of the Goo Goo Dolls meet Travis meets Ben Folds. Through his music, and while performing, Tom has an ability to connect with the college crowd with his acoustic based piano/guitar concert. The passion for his writing is found in the honesty of the song lyrics. Each song paints a picture of both the humanness and genuineness of the things Tom holds true in life. He can and does relate to where the average college student is at in life.

Story behind the song
This came from a particular situation where someone told me a story about something major that took place in their life, but left key details out of it. Needless to say after the conversation things just didn’t add up with what they were telling me and what I knew. So born was the concept of this song. A few lyric re-writes later and here you have it.
Lyrics
Something tells me by the way you're acting You've done this once before You should see this like I hear it Cause your actions don't match your words You try to play it dumb More than anyone I tried to be your friend last night You doubt and try to leave everything out I know that something isn't right Nothing ever comes from nothing At least from what I've seen You can go on pretend to be someone I'll keep playing me Re-write and compromise Right through your whole life I tried to be your friend last night You doubt and try to leave everything out I know that something isn't right You fell down on the rooftop of an emotional high Now all you hear is singing on the radio late at night But something isn't right You've felt it all night You say no one cares But I was there I tried to be your friend last night You doubt and try to leave everything out I know that something isn't right
