Tom Wehrle will blow your mind away with Pop/Rock infectious melodies
Tom, 24, is unique in the fact that he sings, plays most instruments, records, and produces all of his own music. With his hands on everything, Tom approaches each song with excellence in mind. From a simple melody, which transforms into a full song, to an acoustical interlude, the music is anything but ordinary. Tom's music is a fun/laid-back blend of the Goo Goo Dolls meet Travis meets Ben Folds. Through his music, and while performing, Tom has an ability to connect with the college crowd with his acoustic based piano/guitar concert. The passion for his writing is found in the honesty of the song lyrics. Each song paints a picture of both the humanness and genuineness of the things Tom holds true in life. He can and does relate to where the average college student is at in life.

Story behind the song
It’s the greatest question people struggle with on a daily basis. From fashion trends, different jobs, relationships; the list goes on. It took me about a year to complete this lyric once I came up with the original idea. One night I was flipping through the TV and saw all these pay per view things trying to sell one thing after another. I thought to myself, apparently my life isn’t good enough to live without if I don’t have what they’re trying to sell me. Whether it’s the music we listen to, to the hair cut we chose next time or the cereal we chose to eat; it’s man’s attempt at finding himself. What I’ve learned is that you can never truly find yourself until you lose yourself.
Lyrics
I look in the mirror to see what I've become Am I blind or is this really me A face I've never seen You feel as though the same, but to quiet to say "Hey, that's me" Looking for answers in this life Cause soon we all die, but for the night Yeah, we're finding ourselves somewhere beneath the stars And with all we try we wanna know who we are Not to become someone else We're finding ourselves From all I've heard I'm not good enough, for me Or anyone that's ever tried to be Cause we're all so weak, can't you see? That we're finding ourselves somewhere beneath the stars And with all we try we wanna know who we are Not to become someone else We're finding... That hiding in spaces are bringing us down Smiling in places are bringing us round Yeah, we're finding ourselves somewhere beneath the stars And with all we try we wanna know who we are Cause we're finding ourselves Yeah we're somewhere beneath these stars And with all we try we wanna know who we are Hiding in spaces, finding ourselves Smiling in places, finding ourselves
