My name is Navelyn (pronounced Nav-ah-lin) Theram (thair-um) and I am a flautist. I've been playing the flute for five years, and have played with piano accompianists, fellow flautists, and a guitar group. I also have ensemble expireinces with brass, woodwinds, and percussion. I tend to shy away from the classics, and usually play celtic and jazz.

Story behind the song
This piece was inspired by the longing to be free, expirenced by every human being at some point in their lives. A young maiden, confined to the kitchens, watched the songbirds in the sky and gradually imagines herself flying away.
