Story behind the song
I create my songs based on cool rhythm riffs I come up while jamming. I take those riffs and create a song around them. This one is no different than that. The actual original riff is included in the intro to the song. Then the guitar slides come in and punch you in the face. The "call" sound is one that was influenced by the battle cry's you would hear before battle in the past. You can picture an army of armored covered soldiers, and one solider on a hill with a an actual animal horn making the call to battle. The main chorus and verse are based on this "call", hence the title, "Call of The Bus". I even included a french horn doing the call for added effect along with the guitar. The song ends with a crunchy kick you in the ass power chord chugging riff. Hope you have as much fun listening to it as I did composing it.
