Zion's Lost

This song was written, played, and sung here by myself, Jeremy Hendrix.

My band is myself. That simple. If I grow some new arms and start playing anything other than guitar, I'll let you know.
I started this soundclick so that I could start putting my new and original work up on it. The old soundclick (Diamonds In the Rough www.soundclick.com/bands/7/diamondsintherough.htm) is plagued with bad singing and bad mediocre guitar playing. This is for my more evolved work. Check it often because I'll be updating older songs and putting new ones up as soon as I can get them recorded.

Story behind the song
This is another random song. It's not one of my better ones I don't suppose, but it's what it is.
Lyrics
Em - G - D - Am Verse 1 Goin' back, and I'm looking for another road. Traveled so far in the wrong way. I don't know if I can come back, but I'm gonna try---, try try try. Verse 2 I don't even see the horizon coming up over Jordan. Lowered defenses, broken fences of the warden. I'll just fight back for awhile til I die---,die, die, die. Chorus Zion's lost. It's lost. Gone utopia. Fallen perfectness. Zion's lost. It's lost. Yeah, Gone utopia. Gone utopia. Verse 3 Entered a door that I've not seen before. Found the life that I'd been lookin' for. Everything seemed so perfect and then I cried---, cry cry cry. Verse 4 My tears washed away the things I saw. It turned so dark. It was paint. That's all. Now I know the truth and all I do is lie---, lie, lie, lie. Chorus Zion's lost. It's lost. Gone utopia. Fallen perfectness. Zion's lost. It's lost. Yeah, Gone utopia. Gone utopia.
