This is my first song as "Calikula." As soon as things are sorted out with Sound Click, this song will appear under the Calikula page. I hope you enjoy it. Please keep an eye out for new songs.
alternative rock solo art
This song actually began with a completely different introductory riff. After completing the music, I realized that the original riff just didn't fit. So I changed it to the riff you hear now. This one has much more soul to it I think. Now I'm happy with how the song turned out musically. This is just a demo though. Like most of my stuff, this song was recorded in my personal "home studio."
Lyrics
Nothing's coming to mind so this time I'll just scream really loud and project the profound. Every noun and verb that you've heard will determine the outcome of things like the sun and the birds and the voice in your head, where to go when you're dead, in the sky up above or below, who to love, how to think in the crowd, when to not speak aloud. We'll save you the trouble of doing it yourself.
Travel safely on the wave of a chemical.
No need or method to thank it.
Burning brain in the campaign of your scorched-earth policy.
Making time for absolution in between your self-pollution.
You tell me you've got a problem.
Now it starts to come back yet unclear in the eyes of the violent and those less revered. We'll be here to applaud your uncertain arrival and beg for affection and view your collection of bones in a jar and the broken guitars and the fire and wax and the fake heart attacks and we'll pull off your wings and do charitable until the feeling subsides. Then we'll both feel alive.
In your own pollution.
You tell me you've got it wrong.
