What Isn't There... ©2005 Sharon Mark (vs1) One by one they come and go Like drops of rain in the sea I search for words to describe How I feel when you're with me (vs2) All seem less than accurate They cannot reflect enough What it is like standing on The premise of your love (ch) No there is no single word In the languages of earth Could ever be enough To portray so much I could spend each second And scour all of heaven Still ending in dispair Searching for what isn't there (vs3) But one by one those tiny drops They fill an ocean world wide So maybe if there's not just one Put together words provide (vs4) A little glance inside my heart As it discovers something new The globe can seem so big and small In one moment spent with you (ch) No there is no single word In the languages of earth Could ever be enough To portray so much I could spend each second And scour all of heaven Still ending in dispair Searching for what isn't there (tag) And It is only love can play With the hands of time that way A feeling that logic defies The minutes stop but the hours fly (©Hood/Mark)
