Dirty Dark Indie Rock
Former Danish Goth*n*Glam band who finds the glitter and visual love in V-Kei and JRock- The lyrics talks about the gothic sadness while a glamish hope is to be found in the sparkling performance liven We still have the former style in our hearts as we now twist it around in a more direct and honest manner. We give everything.

Story behind the song
This is the first track done in the name of Dreadful Dollface. The sound is very much inspired by a short scene in Velvet Goldmine featuring Brian Molko. A scene which has a sound we describe as the sound of a horror-theatre with a twist of the shiny 70's glam-rock. One of the first scenes in the movie is from the Maxwell Demon tour and shows his band entitled "Venus in Furs". Mr. Demon and his music is given credit by the name "Venus in Feathers", still with focus on our and the lyrics own story, with angels as characters. The lyric tryes to combine both goth and glam by starting off with "darker days" (...) and ending first chorus with the understanding: "must be (oh) so hard to be, and angel". Next part of the lyric introduce a somewhat glamish solution to the misunderstood sadness surrounding the "innocense" (the angels) all along. Last part encourage selfrespect and boldness: "Angels yell all bored to hell". Revealing the shallowness and emptyness, a life without the will to find the magic in it is demanding by saying "See yourself as a mirrored mirror". The result of effort is soon underlined in the last part of second chorus "Oh yes it's lovely... to be... this dreadful", stating Dreadful Dollface as a band hitting off with first track in (and having roots in both) the goth and glam -world. The song finishes off by Andys light voice representing the angelic satisfaction by singing along the dark tones combining both light and darkness into one.
Lyrics
Darker days in many ways were brighter than the day today I've seen the stars Vanish from sight I've seen the stars Killed by light Angels... Land with broken wings Fall from heaven to the ground Need some guidance Away from purity Oh must be so hard, to be... An angel Angels yell All bored to hell See yourself As a mirrored mirror Want to join And want to sing Want to see What the glam-stars bring Angels... Dance with starlit-wings Sing to heaven from the ground needed guidance away from purity Oh yes it's lovely, to be... This dreadful!
