Gary's original music is a virtual cornucopia of compositional stylings. Adult Contemporary jazz-pop- folk-rock...with lyrical twists.
WHO IS GARY BIGELOW ? A life long resident of Fall River Massachusetts, Gary has been an active participant in the Southeastern Massachusetts Performing Arts Community for well over 30 years. Gary's Closet is actually more like a steamer trunk filled with his original music which evoke strong and stirring philosophical - analytical and emotional memories. This virtual cornucopia of compositional stylings, combine to tell the story of this true "Renaissance Man"

Story behind the song
A local folk hero...Buried in his 67 pink "Caddy"
Lyrics
SWEET DADDY GRACE - c 2004 G. Bigelow Driving around, in a big pink “Caddy”.. Smoking and chomping on a Cuban cigar. He wore a genuine “Zircon” diamond on his picky... A mouth full of gold and a bad assed scar. He never had to look for trouble... seems that trouble always seemed to find him. Born and raised a preachers son , now he’s a legend pushing daisies up from six feet under. In a sixty-seven “Caddy” talking’ ‘bout Sweet Daddy Grace. They tell me he started each day with a fifth of Jim Beam and that would help to hold him over ‘till three o’clock tea. He had a slick backed “D.A.” and a big old wad of keys, that hung from his side with his rosary beads. He use to say “heaven was a state of mind.” “You ain’t never seen the devil till you look in my eye” He was infamous to many and second to none. Now he’s a legend pushing daisies up from six feet under. Sweet Daddy.... Sweet Daddy Grace..... He earned more then fifteen minutes of fame buried in his “Caddy” everybody knows his name. Sweet Daddy....In his sixty-seven “Caddy” ... Sweet Daddy Grace. He said “ fill her up with high test it’s gonna be a long ride. Don’t forget to slip in some J and B, in case I get dry. On the marker where I lie let ‘em chisel out this words... ”Here lies Daddy...six feet under... In his sixty-seven “Caddy”.... talking’ ‘bout Sweet Daddy grace. He banked millions of dollars...He was the richest car in town... As far as enemies go...he put a curse on that crowd. He said, “When I come back I’m gonna run you down” I don’t take any prisoners second time around...It’ll just be Me and my “Caddy” ...cruisin’ the “Ave.” ..Sweet Daddy Grace.
