Story behind the song

This song didn't even start with Elfman's March of the Dead, but came from a story I wrote some years ago. I ended up composing a piece for that spacific story, and it was also a march of the dead, but alot more twisted sounding that this one. I just sort of wanted to update it, but then decided to start over because the original has muted brass and at the moment, I don't have any good muted brass to go with my sample library.
