A bloke messing around in his spare bedroom.
Hi I am a guitarist/singer, originally from Manchester and having spent 7 years living on the south coast, have recently moved to Beckenham in South London. I produce all the noises you hear, with varying degrees of amateurism, apart from when I can get my girlfriend drunk enough to step up to the mic and do some backing vocals ! I have been lucky enough to collaborate with two other soundclick members and hope to do more in the future. Frank and Mitch's work can also be found at http://www.soundclick.com/FAL http://www.soundclick.com/perfusion Historically I have written & recorded at home with the Boss BR1180. This has recently been sold and new recordings are now done via garageband on my mac. Equipment Used Audio technica ATR30 mic Fender Redondo acoustic Paul Reed Smith custom SE electric Yamaha Pacifica electric Tanglewood Bass POD xt live effects processor M-Audio 49e Keyboard Tone Port ux2 interface ...plus anything else I can scrape, hit or strum Anyone fancy doing any Internet collaboration? Give me a shout Cheers

Story behind the song
A song about the decline of British seaside towns which hit their height in Victorian times, but are now looking a bit shabby
Lyrics
Pale wall, a leaden sky The nightrain rumbles slowly by Cold room, a Christmas gloom Descends on all around Why should he stay He knows that he should go Why should he stay He knows, that he could go Car alarms, faded charms Buy some trinkets on the promenade Rain lashed, prices slashed Close your shutters against the storm But still he stays He knows that he could go Yet still he stays He knows, that he could go Still the old sailor shuffles on He's known this place since he was very young The times he spent playing beneath the pier will never disappear But the memories are just castles built of sand Seaside lights, Friday nights Another one pound shop closes down Empty streets, the city sleeps The howling wind is the only living sound But still he stays He knows that he should go Still he stays He knows, that he should go
