Story behind the song
About "1. Glimmers Of Suicide": ::WARNING:: Song contains mature content, explicit description of suicide, murder and acts of vandilism. I pulled all that off without cursing a single time hahah lol This song was done without any voice effects or sampling, I used Sindustry's Beat "Cursed" and just recorded over it, did no touch ups of any kind. Based on a poem written roughly 2 years ago. Here it is in its Entirety:: Laying in tha stillness breathing plumes of dying breath. Wondering how they got to the point of having nothing left. See them hanging from the ceiling barely swinging. Screams in that stillness leaving my ears ringing Listening to deathly silent darkness inside all my prisons. Wrists tore to hell with ragged incisions. Tears streaming from mother's eyes as she finds them in red. Puddled up with poison, not knowing if they are really dead. Whispers of "Mother, mother, when will they let me breath again." Ghostly heads full of suicidal thoughts that never end. Sitting in the glimmer of your passing flight. Wondering what a blind man see's if he's never had sight. Can you see them hanging from the door frame. Your blurry mirror image, See the man with no name. You see where he went, but cant see where he came. Unsettlingly passionate about your death in this night. Blood cascading in pools of red so bright. Shimmering death to the mortals delight. Great Father up above, when will they find peace. When will they find that one final release? Will you tell them when their pain can finally cease? This is the story of the once born, but now deceased. Many of the lines of the song were taken directly from the poem, The hook was taken from another poem about suicide infront of your family members.
Lyrics
Glimmers Of Suicide (The Song) (Chorus) Do you want to be the woman to lead your kids deep into the woods. Telling them the whole story so they all understood. Pointing up at that old oak tree to say that's where daddy hung. And for days & days on in, in the wind, his body swung (repeat) (Verse 1) They finally came and cut my corpse down Burned me at the stake I looked down upon my family to watch their hearts break And now I walk in the shadows once again and face all their fears Shed my living clothes for all eternity and shed my ghostly tears Rapture of my own self I’ve let be for so long And to understand what I speak, you must see me as if I was wrong For it is a mystery in the misty times of long ago in old Where my story is still verbally quoted, spoken and told (Chorus) Do you want to be the woman to lead your kids deep into the woods. Telling them the whole story so they all understood. Pointing up at that old oak tree to say that's where daddy hung. And for days & days on in, in the wind, his body swung (repeat) (Verse 2) Laying in the stillness breathing plumes of dying breath. Wondering how they got to the point of having nothing left. See them hanging from the ceiling barely even swinging. Screams in that stillness leaving my ears continuous ringing Listening to deathly silent darkness inside all my prisons. Wrists tore to hell from my ragged incisions. Tears streaming from mother's eyes as she finds me in red. Puddled up with my own poison, not knowing if I’m really dead. (Interlude) Do you want to be the woman to lead your kids deep into the woods. Telling them the whole story so they all understood. Pointing up at that old oak tree to say that's where daddy hung. And for days & days on in, in the wind, his body swung (The Chorus) (Chorus) Do you want to be the woman to lead your kids deep into the woods. Telling them the whole story so they all understood. Pointing up at that old oak tree to say that's where daddy hung. And for days & days on in, in the wind, his body swung (repeat) (Verse 3) Whispers of "Mother, mother, will you ever let me breath again.” Transparent heads full of suicidal thoughts that shall never end. See the blurry image of the man that has no name. You see where he went, but never can see where he came. Unsettlingly passionate thoughts about your death set in deadly night. Sitting in the glimmer of your passing ghostly ghastly flight Blood cascading in pools of red that are so damn bright. The Quickening death of mortals to the devils sheer delight. (Chorus) Do you want to be the woman to lead your kids deep into the woods. Telling them the whole story so they all understood. Pointing up at that old oak tree to say that's where daddy hung. And for days & days on in, in the wind, his body swung (repeat) (Verse 4) I’ve been here a million lifetimes and never lived a day I listen to a million conversations and never hear what they say I walk on the breeze but never have felt the blowing stormy wind I’ve taken a million souls to hell but never have ever sinned Great Father up above, when can I let them have peace. When will they ever find their final release? Will you tell them when their pain can once and for all cease? Cause This is the story of the once born, now mourned for and deceased. (Chorus) Do you want to be the woman to lead your kids deep into the woods. Telling them the whole story so they all understood. Pointing up at that old oak tree to say that's where daddy hung. And for days & days on in, in the wind, his body swung (To Fade)
