nes advantage were a two-piece experimental guitar/piano outfit. we specialised in obscure song structures, kaoss noise and bad synth. consisting of Ryan H. Flemming and Andrew Gardiner, nes recorded between 2003-04, and never played live. while never progressing beyond the demo stage of recording, nes remains an important part of the Coleraine Child Care Unit's playlist.

Story behind the song
lyrics were culled from a diary confessional, written while unemployed in Portrush. the music came from a broken down guitar, that had strings in all the wrong places, and an accompanying piano part that inspired the rather rock n' roll smashing of the guitar in the last 16 bars. the carpet of Colerabbey Studios has yet to recover...
