Country, Pop, Southern Rock, Songwriter
I'm a songwriter in Nashville. My music ranges from country to southern rock to pop. I don't have aspirations of being an artist. I'll leave that up to the pros and hopefully get a cut or two one day. All songs here are copywrited by me and any other co-writers or publishers involved with any particular song. If you're an artist and want to cut one of my songs, please contact me for information regarding permission and licensing. Thanks!

Story behind the song
This started kind of stream of consciousness-like, a series of questions and things a lot of people think about...worry about. As I went on, I realized these were things that I used to do at a certain point in my life. Things change, and the song is about why I used to worry about these things and don't any more. I intentionally didn't lay the whole story out, so it's up to the listener to relate to it on their own personal level. Hopefully.
Lyrics
Ever wonder why the cards you hold are yours Ever wonder why you cry when you don't hurt Do you ever get the feeling what you pay ain't what it's worth Cause man I used to Ever wonder why you can never catch a break You ever think about the plans you didn't make Do you ever regret chances you were too afraid to take Because I used to Oh I used to Chorus: Another time another place The past is gone but not erased I got a second chance I don't intend to waste Cause I remember how I used to Be without you Ever wonder how someone could give their life You ever ask yourself how much you'd sacrifice Well baby it's no wonder now I don't have to think twice Like I used to Like I used to Repeat Chorus
