I Can't Let It Go

This song was written, played, and sung here by myself, Jeremy Hendrix.

My band is myself. That simple. If I grow some new arms and start playing anything other than guitar, I'll let you know.
I started this soundclick so that I could start putting my new and original work up on it. The old soundclick (Diamonds In the Rough www.soundclick.com/bands/7/diamondsintherough.htm) is plagued with bad singing and bad mediocre guitar playing. This is for my more evolved work. Check it often because I'll be updating older songs and putting new ones up as soon as I can get them recorded.

Story behind the song
This song was written and entered into a non-prise-related contest on a Lord of the Rings website where I am a member. The topic had to be about a sickness and the story of the song is about a girl who engaged in sex and ended up with AIDS. The song didn't when, but I feel it was well-written, and I hope you enjoy it.
Lyrics
Verse: F - G - Em - Am 2x Chorus: F - C - Em - Am 2x - F - Em - Am Bridge1: F - C 5x - Em - Am 2x Verse 1 So sorry to be here. I can't choose my own path anymore. The decision is so clear. It's not like I had much to live for. Chorus I can't just walk around and not know where I'm going. It's not like this was planned, but now I'm feeling low and... and I can't...no, I can't let it go. Verse 2 Yeah! Everything I wanted was ripped right out of my very hands. All my hopes and dreams were washed away by waves like sand. Chorus I can't just walk around and not know where I'm going. It's not like this was planned, but now I'm feeling low and... and I can't...no, I can't let it go. Bridge It's all attacking me from the inside. It's not like I could stop the high tide. I wish that I could turn back time. I wanna make everything alright. If I could just relive that night. I know I would be here. Yeah, that's right. Verse 3 It's you that I have to blame. You're the one who put this is me. No one else has came. I never knew how blind I could be. Chorus I can't just walk around and not know where I'm going. It's not like this was planned, but now I'm feeling low and... and I can't....no, I can't let it go.
